Chino and Doodle Siamese Young Female in Des Moines, Texas

My story
Chino and Doodles are bonded sisters who were rescued from an animal neglect case by a good samaritan. Chino came into her foster home with a UTI, wounds on her lower face andunder her jaw and was very underweight. She has been very timid but sweet to her caretaker since the first meeting. Doodles came in to foster care with a UTI, also underweight. She was severely timid and hid from her female caretaker for the first week and a half of care. She did not begin to blossom socially with humans until her male caretaker came by to help with medical treatment for her sister, at which time she came out of her shell.Chino and Doodles are comfortable with each other and have been together since birth. They eat out of each other’s food dishes, lay next to one another and groom each other.

They haven't been introduced to dogs yet, and would do best in a home without other animals where they can develop and thrive, with a bit of love and patience.Fun FactsBoth girls have learned how to play with toys, scratch boxes and LOVE cat nip (currentlyMeowijuana is their favorite brand). They are on a wet food diet to gain some weight (Friskies Pate) they are big fans of gravy, saucy meals but don’t care for treats. Chino loves the window in her room and would benefit from a window bed or a perch of some sort. A water fountain would also be helpful to have for these two since standstill water is not a favorite of theirs, they prefer running water. Chino does not enjoy being picked up and cuddled, she likes to approach you once she is comfortable and will let you pet her. Doodles will allow being picked up, once she gets to know you and loves to be loved on, rubbed, etc. She has a fascination with her back toe beans and loves to rub them on her face. When she is ready for pets, she will flop her butt on the floor and grab her leg and start rubbing/sniffing her toe beans while you give her pets. Chino is more of a solo cat but after a little catnip,

she loves attention! Her current foster truly believes that as she gets more comfortable in a forever home and a person she can trust, she will show her true, loveable personality. She has just been through a lot in the last couple months between being neglected and having to deal with multiple medical appointments in her first 6 weeks after rescue . She’s finally been able to relax and enjoy her time in foster now and

is ready to find her forever home. Are you the furrever home they are waiting for????
