My story
Meet Chip GCMy name is Chip. I honestly cannot think of anything better than being named after a potato product, or corn, I guess, if tortilla chips and fritos are more your thang. I love my Foster Mom and snuggling in the bed with her at night is the ultimutt in favorite things. But I do think Foster Mom has taken the Lays Potato Chip slogan betcha cant just eat one a little too far, except delete eat and put snuggle. She has lotsa dogs here to snuggle.I am okay with sharing Foster Mom with all the other doggies here, but I am not a fan of the big dogs getting too close to my pawsonal space bubble, so the only time I get upset is when one of the big dudes moves in too close, then I grrrrrr them, and loosely translated to human grrrrr means move back Buster, I need my 2 feet of bubble space, you jerk face, poppycock gigantor. Loosely.I am a double high FIVE meaning 5 years old and also just weighing 5 pounds. You can pretty much bet that means I am almost completely made of Chihuahua with no big dog genes to muddy up my precious bloodline. I am a big boy in manners, so I know the doggie door and dont mind being crated, although at bedtime my preference is to share the people bed with Foster Mom. I leave her a wee bit of space.During the day time, I usually hang out with the other "littles" here on the sofa, or in the office when Foster Mom is doing the computer. I don't bark much unless everyone is doing it, I have to join in an act of doggie solidarity. Plus it is my once chance to sing the song of my people without getting blamed or told to hush. So yes, if everyone was jumping off the bridge, I would. I fall to peer pressure.Okay, so I do have one thing to admit that is being frowned upawn, but most true little man-dog lovers will find this quite normal. Before I was snip snipped, I was lifting my leg to mark prize objects as mine. Now that I have had my man-parts adjusted, I still wear a belly band to help remind me to get out of this naughty little dog habit.Overal I am a great little man and I think Foster Mom would give me at least 3 thumbs up. I might not be too great in a home with toddlers, sense I still don't like people touching my butt because it reminds me of what used to be there and like all doggies, I do a little warning to tell you "hands off" and not all toddlers understand dog language. But school age and up! I am all yours!GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area.
